  We had a bath tub, fully-functioning airconditioning, wi-fi in the room (we're on the 4th floor so reception's not 100% but still works!), clean showers with towels and amenities, balcony, and a working elevator.   We spent one week in Ibiza, 2 nights in Hostal Es Alocs and 5 nights in Playa d'en Bossa. We were thinking to start with a cheaper more quiet place, and then move closer to the clubs and night life. We were so surprised at our arrival to find the Hostel right on the beach, you couldn't wish for a better location! Breakfast - I like all in this hotel-location. Hotel is located directly on the playa, some rooms with sea view, all is very clean, quiet atmosphere, home made cuisine, you can feel yourself as at home, helpful personnel. You can rent a sun bed only for 4 euro but on others beaches price 8-18 euros. WiFi is free on the ground floor and its nice to drink coctail or homemade Sangria, breathing fresh sea air, listenteng to the sea while chatting with friends.   My friends and I have just come back from a 4 night's stay at Apartamentos Es Retiro and would highly recommend to any other groups of friends looking for a cheap and great place to stay in Ibiza. It's a quick walk to the strip if you're looking to go there, but not too close so you not bombarded with revellers walking past your window. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help or give you advice about good places to go on the island. Overall, it's a great budget-friendly place.
