  The only problem we encountered was marked difficulty getting to the hotel by car. We drove around for almost two hours until a couple got in the car and using the GPS on their phone, found a route. Otherwise, the hotel could not have been better. If travelling by car it is a must to book the hotel's car park. Check-out by midday but ok to leave car much longer and simply collect when ready to depart.   The hotel is located in the centre of town and you can park for free in the town square which is right outside the hotel, although the parking spaces fill up quickly. We had a lovely room on the second floor with a window overlooking the pool. We didn't try the pool but other did while we were there and it looked lovely. We had booked for two nights but stayed 3 nights as we found it very comforta - I enjoyed the location and the facilities of the hotel as well as the helpfulness of the staff. This was my second stay ah the hotel and I will definitely return.

  We visited in May 2013. The other reviews seem very accurate. It was unusually cold when we were there with 10 cms of snow in the mountains. The hotel was warm with a lovely fire in the lounge. There was a very good breakfast. It is a peaceful location and we enjoyed 4 good days walking. Torla has good choice is restaurants. Location of the hotel is perfect for those who like hiking or cycling in the mountains. Torla is a small, charming town.
