  The hotel is excellent. It has a prepared and kind staff. Its location was excellent for us because we were attending a conference in ccib. The beaches are near there and we just walk to them. The hotel is close to a metro station (it is easy to go to the town). We certainly would wish to go back to the Diagonal Zero Hotel and rec - This hotel is in a good location for access to the Grand Prix circuit - on the outskirts of Barcelona, with easy access via metro to the centre and a walk across the road to a decent beach. Parking is good in the underground car park. The hotel is modern and reasonably well equipped - the rooms (lighting, heating) are 'run' by a software interface screen in each room. Our Exec room was large enough and well designed. The bar Tapas was pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  Great location around the corner from metro. Our room was not reay at 14.00, so they upgraded us to a fantastic suite. Friendly and helpful staff, really good breakfast.   The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the beach and the metro. The stop of Bus Turistic is just on the next street. There are many small food shops not far from the hotel. The view from the windows is great (even if you live on the 3rd floor). The stuff was great! Very helpful!   Room was excellent, especially the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion. The food was wonderful. We were served by a young lady who appeared to be new. I think her name was Alexandra? The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city.
