klimatyzacja - Very nice staff - not everybody speaks perfect English, but with basic Spanish - no problem! With 'Sp-english' - no worries at all ! :) While staying 2 nights I could change the room for better the following night. Internet for free in the room. Next to highway, but you cannot hear much. - Friendly staff, great price

I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax.

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke very good English and put themselves out to help in any way they could. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent even though not located in individual rooms, with complementary fresh milk and bottled watered. Air conditioning. The front desk was a lot of help and said exactly where to go. They are helpful and accommodating.
Free wifi and a computer to use for free too.
Free breakfast of croissants, cereal, and coffee.
The other guest are nice, friendly, and respectful. I stayed for 5 nights and never had troubles getting to sleep.
Showers are clean too and a cleaning lady cleans the entire hostel daily.

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean
