From the moment you approach this hotel you feel welcome. The staff are true professionals who are happy to go the extra mile. The rooms are small but perfectly formed with wonderful design touches and very efficient a/c and water pressure. If you want a downtown location in the heart of the city this this is an excellent place to be.
The hotel is small but very clean and tidy. They provide a free welcome drink in the roof top terrace. There are electric shutters on each windows to stop light and also reduce street noise. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff were fine. Overall, nothing exceptional but it served its purpose well enough.

In early Aug 2013, it was very hot in Madrid. I arrived to find there was no aircon in any room due to a generator failure. Too tired to relocate I stayed anyway. Cleaning was done well. We had no problems at all. We didn't take
breakfast so cannot comment on it. It is well situated, with a tube stop
just 3 minutes walk from the door. All major tourists sites are withing
walking distance, Plaza del Sol only 5-7 mins away (Prado musem is about
15-20 minutes, so as Plaza Espania).
