The room was quiet (away from the street), and the area was quiet at night. Many options for eating nearby or a quick (1 euro) metro ride away. The metro stop was less than two minutes away and facilitated travel throughout the city. The room was clean and maintained throughout my stay. It had generous windows and three layers of curtains, to block light. Location was very close to major sites and to the metro. The ventilation system was effective and quiet.
