The owner was very helpful, and he and his mother culdn't don enough to ensure we had a memorable stay. - Very nice personell, they really wanted to make sure we were having a good stay. Its on a quiet street just a few hundred yards from La Ramblas. It was a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything. The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.

The interior of the room is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as long as you are in the middle of the action.
