  It was extemely central. My room was in the back, therefore very quiet. Bed was o.k. The place was quiet. There were two shared bathroom facilities however no no else was there, so I had complete access. I had a key, so I could come and go as I pleased. It was up three flights, so I wouldn't recommend for people who can't do stairs.   The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The location of Hostal Zacatin is perfect. For the price point the room I stayed in was great because it had a clean bathroom inside the room, a/c unit, tv, and the towels were very clean. The communal showers were also kept very clean. People are out on the street outside until 1, but after that we found it calm. She was friendly & very helpful - if she was not actually in the reception and we needed anything we just had to knock on her door. There was parking nearby.

  The pension is in a great location on Gran Via, it's less than 5 minutes walk to the bus for the Alhambra. It's also very close to the Cathedral and the main shopping area. Our room had a view of the Alhambra which was an unexpected treat and we had direct access to the roof terrace whi - Great location. The rooms are at the roof on the 5th floor with an amazing view.
