  The atmosphere was really relaxed with a lot of added extras like the user of the internet facilities included in the price. The dining area with the facilities to make coffee and tea made you feel welcome. The staff was helpful and friendly. - Central location but difficult to find.

  We are a young couple with 2 month old baby stayed there for 4 days. The first room that we got was small but hed an inside balcony, we needed a bigger room so at the next morning we got transfer to a bigger room.   The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings. The hostesses, Maria and Martina, were very nice and helpful. Living in this real b - The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

  Standing room only on balcony overlooking the street - very sweet - felt like a local. Close the shutters and sliding door at night time to cut out any street noise. Aircon available in room if needed. Floor had lift access. Room small and beds very comfortable. Bathroom area small and functional - electric toilet but not noisy. Purcha - It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

  Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.

  I'm not sure why they call this a hostel? I felt like it was more an inn. The attention to details were very nice. Greeted with a glass of Sangria upon arrival. Chocolate on your night stand. Easy access to ev - Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended

  Good location. Friendly owners. Nice design. Big balcony where you can sit with your friends or family members and look at the street throught the big windows. There are some good coffees near the hotel, 100 metres, where you can have a breakfast and dinneer. Nice places. - Staff is very helpful and friendly.
