  Very nice friendly hostal in the great location of Huertas district in the center of Madrid. Everything is walking distance and at the same time there is no noise from the streets. Our Superior Double room was perfectly comfortable, although a little dim as there wasn't much light from the interior-facing window.   Staff was helpful, smiley and made you feel welcome. The place was very clean and tidy all over and the decor was quite decent with nice design touches that made it feel fresh, simple and modern. My single room was just right and the shower room was nice and everything worked as it should. I was able to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe' for some American food, but the location offeres many Tapas locations, as well as bakery places for morning coffee/ breakfast.   There was a lot to like about this hostal. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was extremely clean. Our room was pretty small but for a budget option we didn't expect it to be large. There are scads of restaurants all around. You'd think it would be noisy but it's not. It's on a quiet square so yo - I am so sorry that I haven't asked the name of that super professional and kind guy at the reception. He was extremely careful, helped us out with all our questions and made sure that we were comfortable and safe all the time. The three recommendations he gave us (breakfast place, lunch place and pizza place) were all great. The hotel itself was not exactly what we were waiting for, but the location is great and everything was so easy. Recommend it.
