It's perfect to visit Barcelona, it's in the centre of the city, near Plaza de Catalunya (the place where are most of the METRO lines) very close to Rambla, Passeig de Gracia and Barrio Gotico.

Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful.
Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base.
Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work).
Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held.
Lovely touch of free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast provided (not mentioned when booking).

The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering. Convenient underground parking garages close by. -

Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

I wish I could give bonus points on this review for the staff! The staff were exceptional!! We travel a lot and I have never had such helpful friendly staff. The room we stayed in was small but the way they have designed the rooms they have been able to maximize the space and was very comfortable. The rooms are new and a beautiful modern design, comfortable beds, nice shower and great a/c! Everything about this place was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone!

Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

Location is excellent: the center of old city. You need less than 5 minutes to go to Rambla (with metro station), port, Catalunia square. Appartments were clean (we took two bedroom appartments), kitchen had everything that we need. It's small, but large terrace has table that we used for our meals.

Perfect location in the middle of the Old Town, there are two subway stations nearby (Liceu, Jaume I) from which the whole city could be reached very quickly. Also very close to La Rambla and to the famous Barceloneta beach.

We had some problem the first night: they booked a room for us in another hotel 'cause we were in sort of overbooking. But from the second day the stay was great. This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.
