Clean, convenient, value for money, the owner Vanessa is very nice and helpful - It' location was both good and bad. It is very central which is excellent although it is in a very very dodgy area. Very clean and excellent staff (very helpful).

Excellent location with good restaurants, bars and cafes very close to apartment. Helena at the office was very helpful, she arranged for us to be collected from airport and safe storage for our bags on check out as we had a late flight. A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -

I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. Only one staff members was really unfriendly, but others apologized for his behavior. Perfect location, great overall staff, and cute rooms with great atmosphere. Location of the hostel is good as quite close to the city centre. You
can reach the Rambla street just walking and it takes you around 20
minutes. There is also a metro station near the hostel so can see
further districts of Barcelona taking one of the line. Our room was big
with a comfortable bed and a small tv that was quite nice. There was
also a quite working fan that we found to be very useful espacially at
hot night as did not affect your sleep. We had also a big living room

Jose is wonderful host, save us money by giving many usefull informations, and fulfill some our wishes; he is very reliable. There is many good and cheap markets, restaurants, taco bars, shops and other in the neighborhood, and it is close to city center and many other Barcelona sights. Apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable.
