A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -

Helena at the office was very helpful, she arranged for us to be collected from airport and safe storage for our bags on check out as we had a late flight. I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean

The front desk was a lot of help and said exactly where to go. They are helpful and accommodating.
Free wifi and a computer to use for free too.
Free breakfast of croissants, cereal, and coffee.
The other guest are nice, friendly, and respectful. I stayed for 5 nights and never had troubles getting to sleep.
Showers are clean too and a cleaning lady cleans the entire hostel daily.
