  We had some problem the first night: they booked a room for us in another hotel 'cause we were in sort of overbooking. But from the second day the stay was great. To apologize they leave us one of the best room (and for a day more), give us breakfast for free (at the bar nearby) and discount part of the ammount. The place is in a great position, the room was clean and quiet, just little bit dark - The place was super clean. The interieur was modern and cosy, and the matresses were excellent for sleeping. Great location for sightseeing, shopping, or beach.

  Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  We stayed in the huge attic apartment on the 7th floor of a fantastic old building. The location is central for sightseeing, shopping and eating. There is a terrace with table and chairs overlooking other rooftops, ideal in morning and evening. We arranged to meet a member of staff at an agreed time as there is no reception. Metro stop is right below and you'll are next to very nice El Born and Barrio Gotico areas. Las Ramblas street is not far too. Our apartment and bathroom were nice and clean and the kitchen was good too. We were welcomed by Virginia and all here advices for our 3-day visit were great.

  Located literally in the middle of El Gotic: few steps from the Cathedral, Placa Catalunya, and Placa Jaume. Friendly owner, spacious rooms. Even lack of elevator doesn't make it less convenient.   Rooms everyday cleaned, blankets have been changed also everyday. Breakfast very efficient and sufficient for good start for a day. I really recommend this place with english speaking, helpful staff, elevator for heavy luggage. - Great central location. We stayed for a cold 5 days in February but the room air conditioning served very well as a heater as you were able to programme to whatever temperature you required. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

Our room was really modern and exceptionally clean with a balcony overlooking las ramblas. Excellent value for money, especially as we got one large room for four of us. Raj on reception was so friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. I will definitely be staying again!
