Tingala Lodge is situated on the Silonque Game Reserve in Phalaborwa, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. It features a patio over looking a swimming pool and the savannah. Each luxury suite is decorated in earthy tones and opens onto a patio that overlooks the bush. It comes equipped with air-conditioning, tea-and-coffee-making facilities and some of the beds are draped in mosquito nets. Breakfast at Tingala is served on the shady patio, and guests enjoy the evenings around a log fire under the stars. WiFi is available in some of the rooms and in the living area of the main lodge. Activities available at the lodge include game drives and bush walks in open-game-viewing vehicles in the Kruger Park. The Phalaborwa Airport is an 18-minute drive away and the Hoedspruit Airport is 80 km from the property.

Superb bushlodge just outside Kruger NP, run by the young and lively couple Alison & Craig. Craig is a fully licensed Kruger NP-guide, Alison stands for the high quality rooms and food of Tingala and together they run this unique place with great hospitality. The main building has very clean bedrooms with a private patio. In the central area you can relax, have breakfast and in the evenings join around the campfire, meeting other guests, sharing stories and laughs. And we did! During my sta.
wszystkie opinie » We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop). Greg and Ally are the best hosts you can wish for! Nothing is too much for them.Very nice atmosphere, beautiful views.Real Africa feeling. Although the lodge is not so easy to find, you will find it. Keep driving the dirt road (easy to do with a normal car) until the gate (sign Tingala Lodge).The lodge is in a private game resort. You can order a diner in advance or do your own cooking in a very well equipped kitchen. It is so much worth to book this place! Thanks Ally and Greg! X. Excelent hospitality from Ali, his English wife and Craig, the super ranger!!!!!! He's a qualified ranger and showed as around in the Kruger Parc during a night drive. They both provided us with excellent dinner an were very friendly. Craig has his own Jeep to show you around the premises. We even saw wild dog! Craig made a food print of them for my boy of nine!. Craig is a perfect host,we had the best time here on his night safari in all our 6trips to South Africa .The accomodation is fantastic,breakfast was excellent and the staff so friendly and attentive.We were lucky to have 3 elephants join us at the water hole while we sat on the terrace.we would recommend Tingala 100%. The hospitality of the hosts. The beautiful architecture, open plan areas, braai/fire pit, and the hot chocolate muffins for breakfast.
