  We were received by Gene with a wonderful smile, vastly compensating the tiring flight from Europe. She made our week-long stay a memorable experience. The breakfast was great.   The room we had was quite basic and a bit older, but had everything we needed and was comfortable, with fresh towels and linens, and a nice view into the town. Also the owner, Arno, was very friendly and helped us with some plans and offered great tips - Excellent location; smack in the middle of the town center. The owner (arno Zacharias who looks like a rock star) & his staff were all accommodating & professional. They helped me plan small trips in & around stunning Stellenbosch. Ah, everybody should not miss the wine route! Room was kept immaculate. Breakfast was adequate. Arno was kind enough to offer me a lift back to the train station for capetown. Thanks! I will definitely stay here again. I really liked the welcoming spirit.

  It offered very good value for money and since we we going to a wedding and only going to be arriving late and night and leaving early the next morning, we did not need all the bells and whistles.
