Very nice and quiet family run hotel, with an accomodating and friendly staff. Probably the best hotel breakfast I have had, ever (and I travel a lot in business). A quite and nice neigbourhood, but only a 10 min walk to the more busy and noisy centre of Cape Town. Allthough only 14 rooms, they even run their own transport service in the evening.

The complimentary wifi and mini bar, which was replenished daily, are a very nice touch and something that hardly any boutique hotel of this size offers.
Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and luxurious and with a great view of the ocean.
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and that just made it an even nicer place to stay.
Will definitely be returning.

We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with,
after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to
arrange another room and get it ready for us. She was very polite and
professional, an asset to the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant

I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was spectacular and the attention to detail from the decor to the ambiance within the room (gentle music in the background) was impressive. The view from the hotel is out of this world! Breakfast each morning was delicious and elegant. I loved every moment being there! -

The staff were great, just couldn't do enough for you and the hotel
itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.
