The staff were great, just couldn't do enough for you and the hotel
itself is a great mix of the old original house and newly built annex
with lots of facilities, including a bar, jaccuzzi (if the weather
allows), good size pool etc.Breakfast is also of a high standard with an
excellent continental selection as well as choice of hot options. The
breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing
background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

The whole experience from the welcome at the gate followed by a cold
beer and suggestions for eating and excursions to the checkout
arrangements that included the opportunity to shower and change before
heading off to the airport was great. All these little touches made for
a very relaxing stay at the end of almost a month toruing South Africa.

It is a little hike from long street and the water fronts but taxis are cheap or be adventurus and take the mini buses that the local folks take

Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.
