This renovated Victorian home was built in 1914, and is located in Oranjezicht, just over 2 km from the centre of Cape Town. It features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. All of the bright, spacious rooms at Guesthouse One Belvedere feature a shaded balcony with views of Table Mountain and a small seating area. The rooms each include under-floor heating. A free buffet breakfast is served every day. There are also a number of restaurants within a 5-minute drive of the Belvedere. Guests can enjoy the sunny terrace or garden or relax in the hot tub and sauna. Other facilities include car rental and free parking. The beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are both around a 6 km drive from the Guesthouse One Belvedere. The Castle of Good Hope is just over 2 km away.

Fabulous place. The owners are accommodating, friendly, practical, the rooms spacious and airy and a wonderful balcony running around with a direct view of the mountain. Small things like free videos to watch, wonderful spacious common rooms, delightful outside breakfast, and that they thoughtfully put on the floor heating in case I was cold was so special. Quietly done and not in your face at all and not overly furbished. They organised a 4am reliable taxi service.

A great selection of DVD films to choose from, even a selection for more broadminded folks. Breakfast is great and well presented. Awesome view of table mountain and location to nearby attractions is a stone's throw. We stayed in room number 5 and the bed was huge! Premium quality linen and bedding make for an amazing night's rest. The guest house was very conveniently situated and at a good price. The room was very comfortable, had all the necessary items and was extremely clean. breakfast was excellent and the owners were very good hosts and good company. they were pleasant from the moment we arrived. We will definitely return on our next visit. B&B in a superb position, great view of Table Mountain & the harbour. Room was comfortable and facilities offered v.good. Pool in a quiet & private setting, with a jacuzzi & sauna. Staff were v.good and extremely helpful. Breakfast was good and set in a scenic setting. It was a very clean comfortable place to stay just outside of the city. Great hosts, Breakfast was very good. They were very helpful with directions, tours advice, and just general information.Loved the room and location and wifi throught the house.I would definitely stay there again. Beautiful Victorian building restored to very high standard of design and comfort. Location in a quiet residential area close to all amenities and sights in the city and great views of Table Bay and the mountain. The guesthouse has only 6 rooms, and have a nice intimate feel to it. I like that fact that it is not in the city, but very close. Breakfast was very good, and the owner Rob was very friendly and helpful. Both Rob & Charl are excellent hosts, friendly, relaxed.
