A very cosy and comfortable hotel. As far as we understood there are about ten rooms in the hotel and it is located in a historic building in the heart of the city. There is no lift in the building so you will have to go up the stairs to the fourth floor. We stayed there for one night only on our way from Kostroma to Helsinki. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. The room is very clean with an excellent bathroom. And of course the location is perfect. It takes minutes to get to the.

Like our room (Junior Suite) with spa and a bit of room to move.. Very centric location. The whole hotel is very clean and cosy. We were let to check in two hours earlier and check out the same. Girls on receptions are quiet pleasant and helpful. Great location. Walking distance from the main city attractions and in the middle of the main shopping district. Great value for money. Nice friendly Staff, great location - close to everything, clean, modern room, excelent facilities. Almost all. It's a best hotel if we talk about location/comfort/cost. Excellent location on Nevsky prospect, with 5 minutes walk to the Hermitage and Admiralty, 3 minutes walk to underground and bus stations. Location perfect and the small hotell is clean.Breakfast ok. Location. location. 5 floors of stairs to carry luggage up and down.....too hard. If you live in the room with windows that go on Nevsky probably it can be a little bit noisy, but I am not sure if it is a disadvantage, since for me at was an objective to stay on Nevsky and enjoy all about this centric position, till noises of the city:). Basic breakfast. No elevator, if you are travelling light it's a great place to be in, otherwise be prepared to lug your bags up three floors(pretty high !). There was a problem with sink. Piping was broken. Also there was another problem - a bell near door. It's not comfortable to ring up every time, when you need to open a door. I think key with a magnet card, that'll open a door, would be more comfortable. The hotel is at the sixth floor with no lift. Some of the staff don't speak English. On 5th floor of building without lift. Bathroom equipment is very noisy when water is pouring, making unpleasant loud sound every 10 seconds. no lift. This is a big problem if you have luggage. Hotel is actually old big flat in the old historc building on the 5th floor without elevator. Room wasbig enough but very poor, all the night you're hearing nose from water supply or heating system. Hotel presentation in the sites does not reflect at all the real situation! Few rooms located in the forth floor of old building without lift. So all the language you bring up yourself, small rooms and poor breakfast. The price is huge compared to the quality proposed. breakfeast not clean stairs up to hotel six long levels poor environment in stair hallway could not open windows to outside for the smell or traffic noise rooms were not cleaned every day no help transporting 103 steps up to hotel limited communication skills of hotel staff.
