Everything was close by, just 5-10 minutes on foot to the Bolshoi, Red Square, and the Kremlin. Close to the metro as well. The staff was superb and very kind, and they let me store my luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was a great help. Do not let the outside of the building mislead you. Inside it is very modern and it has a nice ambiance. The rooms are spotless, have a lot of space for your belongings, and there is a person cleaning every morning. The common room was extremely.
wszystkie opinie » Everything really! The location is awesome. Walking distance or only few metro stations to pretty much all Moscow's landmarks. Staff were very friendly and the hostel was always kept clean. Wi Fi and the kitchen and communal area as well as toilets were very comfortable to use all the time. Great value for money and even a greater opportunity to meet fellow travelers and gain few new friends. it is 10 minutes walking from the bolshoy theatre and very central, nearby to main attractions of moscow and also a good place for nightlife (within 2km radius lots of places around!) it was clean and they had personal lockers. not suitable for your luggage but for your camera etc. it's good. every bed had an electric plug, that was a big plus :). Everything was great. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bed-linen (though there were some hairs that I believe survived washing :)), very nice common area, location is perfect once you realize how to get there. I've already recommended this hostel to my friends and will do so to everyone who asks me about where to stay in Moskow. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful. You can ask them a lot of questions, they are always ready to answer!!! Safari Hostel is really well located on Moscou, 10 min from the Moscou's center. And clean sinks in shower rooms a bit more often. It's difficult to find the Safari Hostel. no critics, I felt at home for 5 days!. Toilet and shower is okay, but shower sink held water, so it was annoying. But not a big deal anyway. Wifi reception is only good in the common area, not inside the room. Drainage of shower / sink in bathroom sometimes is a bit blocked and accumulating water. How to get there... The directions could be little bit more clear, including different route options. An improved map may help. None. Bathroom not always 100% clean and dry. the shower is sometimes short of hot water. The room's had no ventilation and Moscow was hot, around 28 C. It would be great if there were some fans in the rooms on hot days to make it more comfortable. It was noisy because of tv in the living room. Shower was not cleaned good. It was a bit hard to find it, especially in the night. The signs are not visible enough. Had a water leak in the shower, which got fixed the same day. The internet connection is not good in rooms. My room was not so clean, there was dust all all over the floor. But anything else was ok. The internet very slowly. there was smell from tables. it was full of Russian People so main language was Russian,so there was no Hostel atmosphere. room 11 the first day was too small for 4 people. the matress. As it was so cold, the windows were obviously closed, but it meant that the rooms smelt really bad throughout the 5 days to the extent where we would rather be in -10c than in a warm, but manky room. As stayed two times, I can compare. Safari became worse. 1) not all restrooms were available (repair) 2) those restrooms which were open sometimes were full of used toilet paper (not often cleaned) 3) they didn't accept bank card, this forced me to go outside, change currency, go back and pay 4) the beds (at least I used) looks OK, but need small maintenance.

Please note that the entrance to the hostel is located in the yard between Petrovka and Neglinnaya streets, and it is possible to enter from any of them, but not from Rakhmanovsky Pereulok. Please note that visa support for foreigners is 1150 RUB per person. Please note that registration fee for foreign citizens is 380 RUB per person for more than 3 days, for Russian citizens is 100 RUB. It can be paid at check-in. A security deposit of 500 RUB is required upon arrival for the card key. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out.
