I stayed at two other hotels during my time in Lillehammer, and this hotel was not only the cheapest (even for a deluxe room), but by far the best and offered beautiful scenery, comfortable room, and a helpful staff. The two sleeping areas in the room made it ideal for parents with older children - we were able to have the two TVs on different channels - it kept everyone happy.

Very nice and calm location with beautiful lake view. Nice foyer, which invites to relax in comfortable armchairs.
Good hints for hikes directly from the Manager. We enjoyed our stay and we will come back. -

Close to Hunderfossen Train Station (train noise didnt affect us as we werent facing the railway). We travelled by train.

As we were there in the off season (the end of April) we received a free room upgrade. The rooms had an excellent view of the snow covered mountains and were very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, if small, and the tv received a wide variety of channels.
