  The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us do our laundry even though they didn't have public facilities. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had many items to choose from. - Friendly and helpful staff,great rooms,clean and well decorated,great breakfast,quite hotel,good location(opposite to bus station).   Excellent starting point for activities such as northern lights safaris, dog sledding trips, etc. Nice room but a bit small. Very good breakfast. Good position at the end of the shopping street. Good view of the new cathedral. - No surprise: you get what you should be getting from a fairly expensive hotel

  Everything - the rooms are very cosy, comfortable and warm - perfect for a mid-winter stay. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The location was great - 2 minutes to the supermarket, pleasant 25 minute walk to Alta museum in one direction and the centre of town in the other. I will definitely stay here again, hopefu - The hotel is nice, and some rooms have a very good view to the fjord. Traditional style, with good ammenities. The food in the restaurant is very good, and not only for norwegian standards :) It is important as there are no other restaurants nearby. Very good breakfast included. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

  we had a very nice small Chalet (small hut) for 2 with a small kitchen an bathroom. We were very surprised because it was all so nice. The Food in the Restaurant was very good, breakfast was also great (extra-pay!)   The hotel was well furnished and the rooms looked modern, the bathrooms too but the halls and dining room etc had very nice decoration that really went with the Norwegian feel of the place. Breakfast was laid out as a buffet and was nice enough. Staff were really friendly and approachable.   I couldn't fault it. The staff was excellent, the rooms clean and perfectly adequate for a traveller. It was near the heart of one of the three centres of Alta. - Nice big room, free parking, free sauna
