We loved the location as was quiet even tho just off a main road and could hear the falls. Loved the deck area, BBQ option and the fact that all rooms faced the river and falls. Kitchen was very handy. Place was older but very clean and comfortable. Owner/staff (especially Thomas!) were so friendly, helpful and laid back. We wished we could have stayed longer than our 3 nights at this delightful little gem of a place. We would highly recommend it especially for families. wszystkie opinie »
The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We originally booked a studio apartment but found it to be too small for a party of 3 adults so we moved to a 2 bedroom apartment and while it was the only one without a view we were very happy with it as it was very spacious and we were going to be out most of the day anyway. The location is excellent (only a short drive into Paihia) and the area around the motel is beautiful and well kept.

You would have to pay a lot of money to get such a view from a restaurant.
Staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful, family business and
really welcoming. Rooms overlook the Haruru waterfall and estuary, and
the Waitangi Bush walk begins right next to the falls. Kid friendly.
Kayaks available for hire and we could paddle right up to the falls.
Great location and amazing views, Owners were fantastic, so very
helpful. Had a neat day out on the Kayaks hired from the motel and
enjoyed the free use of the BBQs. Rooms were a little dated but clean,
definte value for money.
Location is fantastic. Beautiful view of the river and Haruru Falls. Convenient distance away from town. The owner was absolutely fabulous. He was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Loved every minute of our stay here.

We were welcomed in a very friendly manner. We had our room upgraded and had a spectacular view of the waterfall and river. The proprietor was very helpful and local restaurants and cruises.
Personal attention from owners. Full cooking facilities. Peaceful location out of town.Most of all the superb view of the falls, which was magical in morning and evening light.
Hospitality was great, location was great, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our time there was relaxing and most enjoyable.

Felt our room interior needed an update and was very small for 3 people.
The carpets were dirty.The shovel burners were dirty. The wall need to be painted. The furniture was dented and strained. Front door would not slide and would not locked was repaired. We all had a ant problem. 4 channels on TV . Should only be rated as a 2.5.
