The hotel had a 'local' feel that I would not have felt if I had stayed in the Radisson. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Despite being in a busy, noisy, dusty city, the hotel was a very calm, relaxing and quiet place. -

I’ve been to Kathmandu and stayed at Royal Penguin Boutique hotel. What a lovely place!
I’ve been treated like a queen Beatrix from the first minutes of my arrival. The staff is so friendly in this hotel! They’ve met me by jeep at the airport, and when I arrived they have put a red carpet on the floor! Welcome drink was very refreshing.

The rooms are extremely comfortable - big, fresh and light. Stable WiFi in all areas of the hotel. Hot water and electricity are available without interruptions, what is quite unusual for Kathmandu.
And the way they treat guest is really amazing. I felt very special when I stayed at the hotel. They even put for me red carpet on arrival!

Kathmandu Guest House has a very good location, central area, only less than 10 minutes walking to Green Line station, but quiet. Hotel has free airport shuttle. Very convenient. The Service was excellent - felt that each member of the staff from the GM onwards was giving you personalized attention and the food served by the outdoor terrace restaurant is excellent. The buffet breakfast in the sunshine is really a treat and the fact that one can get world class coffee and tea is a bonus.

It was a treat to escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and to breathe the fresh air. The pricing offered by the hotel is really good - value for money. The personalized service is another key point. We were given a major upgrade as we were not happy with what was provided to us upon arrival. -

Location is wow. Brilliant views of the mountains.
Staff though not always good at speaking English, but helpful. The in house chef offered to make me a sandwich at 12am as I was checking in.
I requested an airport pickup and got one.
Breakfast was good.
Would stay here again.
