  Riad Maia provided an excellent base for our two night stay in Taroudant. The French owners were lovely, though they spoke quite basic English (better than our non-existent French!), we enjoyed their welcoming personalities and good sense of humour. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean, of generous size and well appointed. The riad was am... co mówią ludzie » azingly quiet and also featured a beautiful roof terrace - it was split over a couple of levels and adorned with cacti and plants, with several chairs - Lovely Riad in the Medina of Taroudant. We were the only guests and had the small room and an adjoining lounge to ourselves. The Riad is tastefully decorated, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, and nearby there is a nice little restaurant the owners will be pleased to guide you to. The hosts were very friendly and had many helpful tips. Make sure you look at the map the Riad provides by email before you get to Taroudant, or else you may get lost.
