  I had a great time at Riad d'Or. It was exactly the type of accommodation I was looking for: one representing the legendary Moroccan hospitality. This means for me good food, laid-back atmosphere, water presence, beautiful Arab decoration, smiling ladies and attentive gentlemen. They would go up from the reception till the roof - Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was friendl

  Beautifully restored and decorated riad with a very friendly and helpful housekeeper. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. - It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it.   The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The hotel is located near a water fountain where ladies came to collect - The lady who attended us was lovely, and the view from the terrace was excelent. Really enjoyed our stay at Al Andaloussiya.
