  The location was excellent, so close to everything! The whole property is good value for money, with a good breakfast and friendly staff. Even though there was a language barrier with the staff (they didnt speak English and we didnt speak French) they were still very friendly and made us feel welcome. The location is 5min walk for Djamaa el Fna square, in a real quiet road. Lights are up during the night and we didn't felt in danger even when walking back to the riad at night.   This is now my third time in Marrakech and I can say that my stay At El kennaria was brilliant!!!. The Riad is spacious, clean and really well located about 2mns from the main square.   After a well-organised transfer from the airport we arrived at this lovely riad with very welcoming and friendly staff. Location was ideal for the souks and main square (only 1-2 minutes' walk) but in a very quiet area. Al - I stayed at Riad Balkisse on my first visit to Marrakesh I have to say that what made my stay so great is the staff. Fouad is a genuinely caring person. . We arranged to have dinner in the Riad the night we arrived it was delicious. The roof terrace is a fabulous place for the tasty breakfast or a quiet drink in the evenings. Riad Balkisse is well located and is only a 3 minute walk from the Souks and a 2 minutes walk to the main square. Many thanks for an unforgettable stay to all the smiling
