  My boyfriend and I booked a two night stay here on a trek through Marrakech. Having never been to the city before we didn't know much about location, ammenities or prices. Fortunately this place is like a diamond in the rough!!! This hotel is located close to the city train hub and in the heart of the "new city". There are many restaurants, bars and shopping right arou - The room was as described and everthing worked as it should. We arrived late, around 10.30pm, and we're told by reception that the restaurants in the area would be closed. Well, we walked outside and on the corner was a very busy simple style fish restaurant. It was really different and threw us straight into the local scene. Great choice of fish at very reasonable prices!   Nice hotel in the middle of Guerliz. Extremely friendly staff. One of our group had to go (unexpectedly) to the hospital at 22:00 hours. The directrice was so kind to drive us there and helped us in the hospital. It is on the front of the bus stop so you can go to Medina (taking the bus n1), or by taxi, which is cheap there. The room was spacious and had a nice decoration, large bathroom with a tube.   The reception from the staff was the best thing and gave us a very good first impression .. the hotel is 30 minutes away walking from the old city .. my bedroom was clean and the bathroom was clean too - I had to catch a very early train, this hotel is really near it. And the staff is there 24 hours, so it's very convenient.

  The hotel was very clean in all areas that I saw. The bed was very comfortable as was other furniture in public areas. The shower in the bathroom was great, very hot and powerful.
