The Riad had stunning interiors, renovated to very high standards.   The Riad is tastefully designed and the decor is chic. Modern feeling with rain shower head was a great feature. Our bed was very comfortable and our room (Alia) was large. Breakfast is sufficient with some variations day to day. We were there for 3 nights so we would not want to eat the same thing 3 times in a roll. Staff was very thorough with in - Riad Layla is on the edge of the Medina, but it is only a few minutes walk from the blue gate. The terrace has a fantastic view of the old Medina. The breakfast every morning is wonderful, and each of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 days, and we extended another day of stay in Fez.
