A museum tour was included with a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable docent. I learned much about the Lacandon people and Na Balom´s work. The room was real in that it was not hotel furniture. Having an evening meal with the staff. We liked the atmosphere and the setting. The lady who runs the kitchen can make excellent home-made style Mexican/Chiapas food. really interesting Historic building, museum & hotel. Fireplaces in rooms. Loved it.
