Was perfect! The owners were so helpfull, nice and friendly that its hart to describe. Its a lovely couple, that has a great actitude towards their guests. Not just maps and advices were to go, but Jan helped us to get tickets to Chichen Itza, then to Playa del Carmen (they were brought to hotel), orgnized loundry for us (small charge) etc. Hotel has a beautiful design in the outside and inside. Outside is colorfull, clean, with swimmingpool, little bar and place to have a meal. Inside is amazi.
wszystkie opinie » The owner Yan is from Holland. He has a perfect sense of Hospitality. Everything is arranged in a perfect way. Besides nice hotel service he also provided lots of advice and suggestion about the trip around Merida area. He mention that if he is not very busy he could also drive the guest for a day trip near by of course with very reasonable charge. Yan could also help to make a travel package include hotel and Maya heritages.The breakfast is diversify. You could enjoy different Mexico homemade . The Little Hotel (six rooms) is an oasis within Merida. The hotel is in a beautifully restored house with a very nice pool. Rooms are very comfortable and especially bathroom are very spacious. Jan and Rita (the owners) are extremely friendly and helpful – it is more like staying at friends than in a hotel. They also were very flexible with our booking and also organized a car, bus tickets etc. for us. Not forgetting to mention that we had the best breakfast on our Mexico-tour there (there is n. Really nice small hotel (6 rooms). We stayed in 2 different rooms, and both were spacious, nicely decorated, well lit (good sized windows and good lighting) and with comfortable beds. We came here last minute and I am so glad we did. As soon as we arrived, the owner sat us down and gave us loads of information about the area. The room was spacious and clean with everything you might need. The bathroom was huge! . The breakfast was tasty and the staff were very good. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk to the centre in about 10 minutes. There is also free parking. The owners were just so friendly and helpful and we can't recommend it enough. We had a lovely, large room upstairs overlooking the pool area. The owners have recreated a hacienda style decor, with iron works, tile floors and a wonderful large shower. Jan greeted us with a welcome drink and then shared lots of info about Merida with us, pointed out places to see and oriented us on the map. He also called to arrange a tour for us before we left. Breakfasts were simple but delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much. Jan & Rita were very warm and accommodating Hosts, and of course Geo the family dog was in charge of security. Location is very good close to walking the Zocalo, and easy parking in front of the hotel. The Hotel is a renovated Colonial with lots of charm, room we had was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable and very good, with authentic Yucatan food of differing offers every morning prepared by two lovely ladies. This hotel is small but it is nicely decorated with style, very comfortable and care with detail, it is a nice hotel for relax expecially after a day walk around the city. About 12min walk to city center, quite area but seems quite safe. The owner is very nice and helpful. if you are looking for a small but cute and pretty hotel, this is the hotel i can recommend. We love everything in this hotel. It was like being home. Jan and Rita did their best to help out. Gio, their dog, is so lovely that we have been missing him since we left. Moreover, the breakfast is delicious. How we hope we could stay there for several days more!!! By the way, Merida where the hotel is located, is a must to go in Mexico. Ian, the owner took really good care of us. He welcomed us with a very detailed orientation of merida, supplying us with maps and suggestions that were very helpful. A lovely looking hotel with incredibly friendly owners. We waited there one evening for our night bus to Palenque and they even ordered us some takeaway as we waited. Very very hospitable. It's a great location to explore the attractive town of Merida also. Jan and Rita have a small lovely dog. However, there might be people who do not like this. Merida is a nice town with pretty buildings and squares, but we had not expected so much traffic. We got used to it quite quickly. The old town is more interesting than the Paseo Montejo. Tea/coffe facility in the room would make things perfect. The shower wasn't that powerful but that is literally the only negative thing I have to say. Finding the B&B is a real challenge. Once we finally were on the right street, there was no signage to let us know we were at the right place. I had to get out of the car 3 different times to ask for directions (have your Spanish ready!) A sign outside would go a LONG way to help this frustration. Only real thing I felt I had to mention is the 3% credit card fee which was not mentioned on the booking info and really I think is not a good idea to be charging a guest. You might want to rethink that fee Jan. Nothing negative to say. Nothing. nothing, we really liked the place!. Nothing. N/A. Nothing. A little difficult to find. small dog. We liked everything!.
