Good location, a mere 5-10 min walk to Jonker Street and all the
heritage sites. Nice and helpful staff. Keycard lock on the front door
from 6 pm to 9 am - felt very safe. Room was simplistic, nice and clean.
They also provide bicycle rentals on the premises. -

Staying here was really nice and so are the staff, in the end me and my
good friend was almost sorry to leave immediately (1 night stay).
Entering the room, it was clean and quiet. The bathroom is also
spacious and very clean. And the best part is the beautiful scenery of
the Melaka river. A very reasonably priced hostel I'd recommend it
to anyone

River One provides simple accommodations, but had no issues. I had my own room, with air conditioning. There is a shared area with view of the river, and also a shared kitchen available to use. The location is 2 blocks from Jonker Walk (lovely night market). The staff helped arrange a taxi to get to the bus station, which otherwise would have been a challenge.

Karim & CT are the most genuine people I've meet in Malaysia. They just receive their guest with open arms. They seem excited to get to know you.

the owner couple are very friendly and helpful. the room facilities are kept as basic, however, the room is very clean, so as the bathroom and toilet. good for a short stay. the owner also provide us some simple breakfast, which was not included in the package. one night, mr Karim cooked curry mutton and invited us to join him for dinner. realy tasts good :)

Is a little and quiet hostel, very clean, and super close to jonker street and some other atractions.
There are spare adaptors to plug your electronics. The internet is good and there is a computer with free access for those who aren't trvalling with their own.
Kuan is very very nice, he organized a night out for diner and even drove some guests to the beach (i was too tired to go :/). Then when I had to leave he drove me to the bus station! super nice! definitely would go back.
