The air-conditioned Japanese rooms at Hasuwa have tatami (woven-straw) floors and traditional futon beds. Each room comes with a tea maker, fridge and attached toilet. Bathrooms are shared.
JR Yufuin Train Station is 800 metres from ryokan Hasuwa. Ogosha Shrine, Kinrinko Lake and the Mark Chagall Museum are all 2 km away.
A private hot-spring bath can be reserved, free of charge. The ryokan does not serve meals.

The osen is private and the surrounding is quiet.
The outside onsen, the nice location in the mountains.
It's quite far(15mins) from the station, and my luggage is heavy.
To early check out (10), too late check in (16). The housekeeper knocked
at the door at 9am with the bill and asked for the roomkey !!! Absolute
no respect of the guests privacy...Moreover, I had to pay more than the
booking deal (about 14900 yens iinstead of 13900), allegedly taxes and
