Snorkeling fantastic just behind hotel.....
I saw a turtle! But we need to go where is the wall....
Transport if you need to go on excursion.
One day we took a boat for snorkeling with the companie smile fish ( 3 minutes walk from hotel right side.guide english and professionnal.
We saw différents corals than our beach.
Food excellent. We stayed four nights half pension.

We really liked the place. But note that this is no 'fancy' place (could do with a new lick of paint). Facilities are basic and it predominantly caters for Japanese tourists (e.g. breakfast is japanese, which can be a little alien to a western palate and staff speak limited english). So it really depends what you are after (see +).
Not to be missed place.
The restaurant (and the wifi connection) shuts down at 8pm, which is very early.
Beds were very hard (this is standard in Japan).
The pension needs urgent mantainance, bathrooms and change old very old mattresses.

To use the hotel's free shuttle, call upon arrival at Ishigaki Port before boarding the ferry boat. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.
Guests can take a public ferry from Ishigaki Port to Uehara Port on Iriomote Island. It is available every hour between 07:00-17:30. Operated by Anei Kanko Ferry Company. If for any reason the ferry is canceled, the operating company provides alternate transport to Uehara Port. From there, guests can use the property's shuttle.
