  Authentic Ryokan accommodation and an ideal base from which to explore beautiful Kyoto. We found the location peaceful and accessible and it was easy and safe. Great to have access to a share kitchen and laundry, and the communal lounge was a welcome space to read and eat in. We used the local Fresco store often - really good food. - Every member of the staff knows English and they are always available to help you. One of the few places without curfew. Very good location. Great Japanese breakfast. Good price on bike rental. Very quiet.

  The staff is friendly & polite. The receptionist repsond effectively to our enquiry with acceptable English speaking ability. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The location is great as it is close to bus station so that make it easy accessible to all kinds of train station. - Spacious and comfortable room. Whilst WIFI is not available everywhere, we were provided with a router for the room that had a fast and reliable connection. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Highly recommended! - The staff was lovely, kind, and unfailingly helpful. They were able to direct me to every place I needed to go. The subway station is three blocks away with a five minute ride to Kyoto Station. The bus stop in front of the hotel will get you to most of the major attactions.
