The best wi-fi facilities. Each room has a dedicated wi-fi access point providing incredibly fast and reliable internet, for no additional cost. Location on JR line, just outside imperial palace. Nearest food options are about 5 to 10 min walk away, surrounding the JR line stations. Very comfortable locations that can be used as a base for Kyoto site-seeing. Extended reservation for an extra day allowing us to take a day trip to Nara. Great value for a clean, safe, and comfortable hotel. Cheape.
wszystkie opinie » The environment was quiet, relaxing, and generally excellent. The staff were among the most helpful (and friendly!) I've met. It sits literally on the doorstep of the Imperial Gardens - morning walks there are brilliant. There's also a convenience store just around the corner. The quality of service was excellent with staff very keen to help at all times. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and wifi was free. The hotel is well located near the Imperial Palace gardens and not too far from subway stations. I like the location, strategic, in front of imperial palace, close to subway station, and bus stop. This hotel very clean, quiet, and excellent. Staff polite efficient and speaks englush. Hotel very quiet which make it an ideal place after a long day exploring Kyoto. It was quiet hotel directly across the street from the Imperial Palace Garden. It was reasonably priced. -just opposite to Kyoto Imperial Palace making the hotel very quiet (if you like) -Hospitable staffs. Very good hotel, good room size (comparing with others in Japan). - Room had more space than Japanese average. Staff were friendly and polite on arrival. Walking distance to most temples is far, so public transit is necessary. It's a little far from the main 'city district' - though if you cycle, take the train, bus or a cab, it's no big deal. The bathroom was very small, although it had everything that was necessary. I could reach out and touch both walls at the same time in both directions, and I am not a tall person. The breakfast was a bit limited also - you had a choice of Western or Japanese breakfast but in both cases you got a tray with a fixed menu, rather than a buffet. Room was a bit hot and there seemed to be no control of that, apart from opening the window, which is a bit wasteful in November. - a bit far from busses and metro station. The internet connection in my room only worked half the time. No cribs for our baby. preparing coffee is not their machine's strength. Price was high (it was a long 3-day weekend with a lot of Japanese tourists in Kyoto, so fully booked-out); Location although in the mid of Kyoto was not the best, exactly between two metro stations, so with luggage some hundred meters to walk, around the hotel nearly no shops or restaurants. it is not convenient for meal or shop !. Wireless connection available only in the hall. Signal was very weak, so all the people willing to use it were gathering in the same area with smartphones and computers. I hope it was only a temporary problem for them. Save this issue, this hotel is excellent. Location. one disadvantage is wifi only in the lobby. Quite a distance from the subway station. Too pricy for its room and service. The room were the smallest we encountered in our trip to Japan. Aside from being across the street from the Imperial Garden, there was little else we could do within walking distance. -Bathroom had bad odor caused by its shower curtain, though changed, smell still not normal -Quite far for walk from both Marutamachi and Imadegawa subway, esp walking against autumn wind. I suggest you catch a taxi from Marutamachi (better than walking from each station). - Don't expect to much flexibility checking in early, even if you explain you travelled for 24 hours. They will tell you room is not ready yet. If you are ready to pay extra night, room becomes suddenly available . - like most hotels in Kyoto , this hotel is mainly focusing on domestic guests. No maps available that we could understand! Would be helpful if the hotel had a basic map of Kyoto with English place names.
