This hotel has recently (May, 2008) reopened after atwo year rennovation. The price for comparable hotels in the area weremuch more. The Hotel was excellent. Very well located (15meters from the boat station San Angello). Walking from there was a pleasure, and it is about 10 minute walk from San Marco plazza.
The service is really good and pleasant, and so was the breakfast.

Yes, having read other reports we were plesantly surprised as it was better than others had suggested. Staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was right at the begining of season so maybe that helped but a throughly good experience. - beautiful interior, great location, very clean
