Mattia was extremely helpful in planning the ins and outs of our time there. He had current ferry and bus schedules available which saved us a ton of time.   This is a really modern apartment building, with nice furniture and beds (we were 6 in the room for 8). We were there in October, and enjoyed the floor heating, (and there is AC for the summer). We were happy to find dishwasher tabs and soap, and plenty of towels, toilet paper, and good kitchen equipment (not like some apartments where there is ex... co mówią ludzie » actly one plate per person). We enjoyed going to Menaggio and on the boat trip, and also hiking in the mountains. This is a super place with value for - the facility is fairly new, with underground garage, the pool and tub excellent for kids; spacious, clean apartments; close to one another and yet private; comfortable beds; close to the Lake and mountains; also shop and restaurants within walking distance; the staff very warm and helpful; it takes 30 min (on a densely tunnelled road) to get to Varenna (from there excellent ferry trip to Menaggio-Bellaggio-Cernobbio); quiet! great for watersports!
