This villa is a winery and the wine tour and tasting is excellent and
half price if you are staying at the Villa. Very happy we stayed outside
of Siena as it was very hot in the city, but cool at the Villa. Great
views over Siena at night. Highly recommended.

The B&B Duomo is perhaps the best place that I have ever stayed in
Siena - pure magic. The staff and support you receive (including help
with parking your vehicle in the medieval city of Siena) was a godsend.
We had the apartment with the twin beds with full use of the courtyard,
Apt 3 across from their reception area. Perfect accommodations, clean,
quiet, and reasonable. The young folk operating the B&B Duomo (not
to be confused with the B&B Duomo Hotel in the same entrance area)

The staff was super nice and hospitable. They waited up for us to arrive after midnight! The room and bathrooms were clean. Dennis was at all times very concerned that all was well and that we were happy. He was a mine of information about Siena and surrounds and it was as good as having our own information centre. The staff was very welcoming, especially Dennis. He was very helpful and kind. He also speaks very good English. The room was very clean and lovely. The hotel is very close to the city centre and also to the main bus station. The room was quiet. The breakfast was great, they served any type of coffe or tea. The price was very fair. The room was comfortable and clean, it had a balcony with stunning views of the rooftops of Sienna. I was surprised to find a large kitchen and if I had known about it beforehand I would have made much more use of it. I would certainly ask for the same apartments should we return to Sienna.Free wi-fi was a bonus too. -

be certain to notify him of your arrival time. The accommodations are
basic and budget oriented. The room was sparse of decorations; but
clean, neat and livable. It is an easy 20 minute walk downhill from the
central train station with luggage. Plan for the uphill return trip if
you don't take luggage. And it is within easy walk of the old city.
