The owners and staff really made every effort to make our stay memorable and suceeded. This is a gem of a hotel with very friendly staff. You feel like a guest in a country villa. Facilities excellent and spacious. We opted for half board once there, as there are not many places to eat unless you drive. 10 minutes walk to local town for icecream, local market, boat to little villages. A car is beneficial but not strictly necessary. Q

The best thing is that the place is not a tourist trap, but has all the facilities for travelling family/famillies. On the lake there is a small beach 100 yards from the accomodation - good swimming in a great setting. The owner met us from the train, and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is beautifully clean and very comfortable. It's right in the centre of Marone, close to shops, bars, banks and restaurants, and very close to the railway station. The setting is very beautiful, right on Lake Iseo. There are lots of lovely places to visit, with walks to suit everyone.

The family is we're friendly, their daughter spoke very good English. Outside breakfast were wonderful and they also have a nice dinner menu. We ate there every night of the week. The swimming pool has a beautiful view of the lake and was very well kept. It's a beatiful 10 min walk to the crystal clear lake. We are planning to come back next year,
