  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.   Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   The hotel is set just outside the historic village of Savoca and is accessed via a narrow roadway along a steep mountain ridge. Initially I fe - Borgo San Rocco is a truly magical place. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we felt at home instantly. The staff and owners are so friendly, and helpful they make you feel a very welcome guest in their beautiful resort that they love as much as we did. The peace and quiet is amazing and the views are just beautiful. To sit on the balcony in the evenings as the sun goes down, listening to the church bells as the swallows swoop into the valley below is just heaven. We loved exploring

  We loved Laura and her staff at Musciara Resort. They were professional and extremely attentive while also being warm and very approachable. Breakfasts (and lunch and dinner, if you wish) were delicious and served on the terrace right at seaside. The only one with a private beach, it was just great to start our trip there. For the boys they even could use a kayak which they enjoyed. Breakfast was amazing when comparing with Italy standards.
