  The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds.   The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one.   A very nice b&b in the centre of Noto. It is just outside the hustle of the centre, but very close to everything! The owner is very friendly, open and provides you with all the information you want. The rooms are very very neat and also the (shared) bathroom is beautiful! You should not worry about 10 min of walk to the Cathedral because the B&B is worth of it. The place is very calm, rooms are comfortable and perfectly clean. No problem with parking a car. You should go there.
