I had such a nice time at the Hotel Poetto. The people who own the hotel
are just lovely - thoughtful, interested, helpful. The rooms are all new
and have excellent facilities - fridge (delicious white wine on the

Nice family-run hotel in the quiet Poetto district only 5 minutes walk
from perfect sandy beach. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and
the owner speaks fluent English. Besides beach, there is a green area
near by with walking/cycling trails and a lot of birds including
flamingos. The hotel is well connected to city center. The buses are
frequent and it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Piazza Matteotti.
Finally, there is a free bottle of wine as a welcome gift and I got good

The young man and lady who worked there were extremely friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible accommodating our young toddler. Breakfast was also very good. The patio where meals is served is lovely. Location is ideal, the beach is a very short walk away!
