  Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast.   We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was excellent and we were treated like royalty, room was super clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful patio leading to the thermal pool area, Alberto the receptionist made sure to make our stay a one to remember.   I loved the location of the hotel and the views from the breakfast terraces facing the islands of Baziluzzo and Stromboli. I loved the decoration, so charming and elegant and tasteful. I liked the art in the dining area, the Sicilian ceramics in the living area, the director's chairs on the terraces with spotl - Fantastically accomodating staff, exceptionally beautiful scenery and perfectly finished hotel. The photos didn't do the place justice at all. On entering our room, the view of the sea, greenery, sunshine and the sound of crashing waves was breathtaking! Our room was not typical of 5* luxuary but had been thoughtfully furnished with a nice firm mattress superking unlike a lot of other hotels. The outdoor breakfast was fantastcally accommodating with a very relaxed attitude towards time. The

  Friendliness of staff, stunning views, relaxed atmosphere and terrific evening meals! - The infinity pool has the most amazing view and our room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. The restaurant had a very interesting menu and the terrace makes a perfect place to enjoy breakfast with the stunning views across to Stromboli.

  We were very impressed by the way staff arranged all transfers particularly because we did not speak Italian. The desk staff were wonderful. Such a relief to be able to communicate in English. Loved the place. - Great staff, beautiful grounds.

  The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful.   Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.
