  This villa looks much better than pictures. Also the family is very lovely:) Most of all i recommend this place to everybody who doesn't want to stay in napoli, but want to visit. the place located in portici, which you can feel "real" napoli area, not dangerous but normal people's town. the herculaneum is amazing. Simply ask someone around there. - Beautiful old residence which was the hunting lodge of the King of Napoli a number of generations ago. The attention of the hosts particularly Emma and her husband and Francesco. Roof top patio overlooking the Bay of Naples.

  Agree with all the nice things said! We arrived mid-afternoon, were welcomed by Roberto, who showed us around and gave us really helpful information to get down to the Hercuaneum Roman site. We were quite tired when we got back and while talking about possible restaurants, Patrizia suggested that we stay in and have a pizza instead!   We decided spontaneously to spend a day in Ercolano to visit the ruins there instead of going to Pompeij. Luckily we found this bed & breakfast with great location (very close to the train station and even closer to the ruins of Ercolano). Bianca, the owner welcomed us very friendly and showed us everything. They speak English quiet well. They give useful advices about the sights, programs. They try to make more comfortable our stay.   We had a really warm welcome from our hosts. Lemoncello on the balcony with a beautiful view. Place was quaint clean and plenty of room. Right next to the archeolgical site of Herculaneum which was perfect. - Very friendly and helpful welcome. Excellent location for visiting Herculaneum. Off-street car parking facilities.
