  This was an amazing place to stay that had come highly recommended by a friend in NZ, the rooms were gorgeous and the food an outstanding culinary experience. We were given a tour of the palace by the owner and felt part of the family, a truly unique place to stay and worth the drive. The owners are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast excellent, the bed comfortable and the room lovely. P.S.   The hotel was very lovely, the owners were incredibly pleasant and really wanting to accommodate us. The room was great, the use of the pool and steam room was an added treat and really did add to the value of the room. The dinner was better than the recent reviews, staff very attentive!
