Absolutely everything!! The hotel is so bright and crisp. The bathroom
was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities;
slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a
home was already there. The breakfast was wonderful; anything you could
possibly want to eat. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of

In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt.
The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean,
breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the
city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro.
Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in
Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time.
ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo.

The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the
line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a
suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They
supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice
toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a
balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with
its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the
distance. T

The hotel is a good value for the money. Great location is very close to the stazion di Napoli centrale. It is extremely clean, and the staffs are very helpful. They happily accommodated my request to store my bags before check-in and after check-out, and that made my stay all the more easier. The staff were excellent. It is in a very good situation although the immediate square it is in, is slightly run down and can be intimidating at first. If the noise of fireworks upsets you, this is not the hotel for you, as there are a number of firework shops in the square and during the festivals there are constant loud bangs.
