Konieczne posiadanie samochodu. Bardzo mili i pomocni wlaściciele z dobrą znajomością języka angielskiego. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania pobliskich miast Modica, Ra... co mówią ludzie » gusa, Noto, Syrakuzy. - The Casa Del Mar is a family owned/run residence and we were greeted by Walter (the son) on arrival, who made us very welcome and even gave us a lift to and from the local restaurant on our first night. Afterwards, he was able to arrange car hire for us which is invaluable if you want to get around the area sight-seeing as buses are infrequent. Casa Del Mar is a great location as Modica and Regusa are close by as is Punta Secca and Scicli. The area is popular with Inspector Montelbano fans as - The host family were excellent and their ability to speak English was helpful. The rooms we had were spacious and clean. The area is quiet as it is being developed but the premises have very good gardens which allow for relaxing in the sun or taking shade. The sea is a few minutes walk and we enjoyed the walk along the beach to the nearby village. Given the popularity of the tv series insp. Montalbano and the location of the premises this presents a great position to visit the various sites of
