Alla Torre del Barbarossa is a small B&B next to Maggiana's mediaeval tower. The building was renovated according to sustainable architecture practices, and features modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
The rooms come with parquet floors, heating and a cooling fan, and a private bathroom with shower, toiletries, and hairdryer. All rooms offer views of the inner courtyard, where breakfast is served during summer.
Alla Torre also includes a traditional restaurant, open for lunch and dinner.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff: We arrived after midnight and forgot to print out direction to the hotel. The owner, who has stayed up to wait for us, drove out to pick us up and show us the way to the hotel.
Beautiful village surrounded by beautiful nature with great view over lake and mountains, with the hotel fitting in very nicely into the style of the old village, while still being modern and comfortable.

After reading all the great reviews, our expectations were really high, but they still managed to exceed. It is a great place to have a relaxing holiday in a peacefull place. Rooms and all the house is beautifully renovated, modern but cosy. Food in the restaurant is amazingly good. We felt very welcome there by the owners. All in all just go there and enjoy!.

Bit outside the city centre, in the mountains (5min car driving to lido) and not so easy to find. Once we get there really enjoyed our stay at the B&B! From there to Milano only 1hour by train. Superb restaurant in B&B. Very good breakfast en modern stay! Would recommend it definitely!.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
It was difficult to locate, More specific directions required.
Unfortunately there was a problem with the boiler and there was no hot water for shower when we stayed for our one night.
